6 week pottery course with Maisie Jones, The Touring Potter

Spend 2 hours a week over a 6 week period learning about the wonderful world of ceramics.  This course is designed to give you an all round pottery experience taking you from a raw lump of clay through to the finished glazed piece. You will be able to see your creations through each stage of the process.

During the course there will be an opportunity to learn how to throw and trim pots on a potter’s wheel. Handbuild with clay including slab building and pinch potting. Finishing, decorating and glazing.

All abilities are welcome whether you want to try something new or build on existing skills there will be something for everyone. This will be a friendly and encouraging class where you can be creative with clay.

Classes start on Tuesday 9th January 2024, weekly 10am-12pm. for 6 weeks.   Maximum group size 8.
